Playdoh Garden is a hands-on, science-based early literacy program for children ages 3 to 5, grounded in the principles of the Orton-Gillingham approach—a structured, multisensory, and phonics-based method proven to support reading development. In each session, children use colorful playdoh to shape letters, build words, and explore sounds. These playful, tactile activities are designed to strengthen fine motor skills, letter recognition, and phonemic awareness, laying a strong foundation for reading success.

By combining sensory-rich play with research-backed strategies, Playdoh Garden helps children internalize letter-sound connections, develop vocabulary, and begin decoding simple words—all in a fun, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment

StoryTime Garden (ST) moves learners from listening to text and comprehending vocabulary, to independent reading of words and phrases.  With StoryTime students are engaged in learning the first 50 sight words of the English language, as well as, key vocabulary words that relate to their daily lives.   We Integrate fun songs, dances, and arts and crafts projects into each lesson offering children the chance to connect the learning experience with the brain and body. 

Phonics Garden (PG) is a unique early reading and vocabulary program, adapted and written to increase children’s reading, vocabulary and comprehension.  As children move through the program from level 1 (PH1) to Level 3 (PH3) they advance by learning basic skills with focused fundamental alphabet comprehension to reading more complex text with fluency.   Each of our Phonics lessons include song, dance, vocabulary growth, homework review, comprehension practice and specific and systematic goal oriented learning objectives. Students will learn:  phonological awareness, sound-spelling, maintenance blending, words within a sentence, rhyming units within words, beginning and ending sounds, syllables within words, and biological phoneme features:  how the mouth, tongue, vocal cords, and teeth work together to produce sound.  Ages 4 – 8 

Read Write Early Years (RW-EY) is a reading comprehension and vocabulary extension program that moves learners by scaffolding students through an inquiry process from basic understanding to critical analyses of texts. Using skill ladders connected to individual readings 

in short stories and nonfiction, students move from lower order, concrete thinking skills to higher order, critical thinking skills. All of the books are chosen to include multiple skills necessary for academic success, covering language arts standards such as sequencing, cause and effect, classification, making generalizations, inference, and recognizing themes and concepts.   

RW Levels Grades 1 – 8 (Year 2 – Year 9)

SMW Is a unique writing program which covers parts of speech, grammar, spelling and 8 key forms of writing genres: persuasive, descriptive, informative, writing letters, personal narrative, sequenced directional writing, creative stories and poetry with rhythm.  Classes are 50 or 75 minutes long and meet 1 time per week.    Grades K-8  (Year 1 – Year 9)

Green Gardens Prep offers practical English test preparation classes for high school students, college students, and working professionals who need stronger English for academic or business goals. Classes focus on the key skills needed for exams and real-world success, including reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, essay writing, listening, speaking, and test-taking strategies. Students receive guided practice, feedback, and step-by-step support so they can build confidence, improve accuracy, and prepare for English exams, university entrance requirements, interviews, workplace communication, and future study or career opportunities.
